Self worth

SELF WORTH..

An excerpt from what Nikki Banas from mind journal wrote:

– The only one who gets to decide their worth, is YOU!

It doesn’t come from your bank account or the number of friends you have.

It doesn’t come from what someone else says you are worth.

Its called self worth for a reason, it comes from YOU!

It comes from being yourself and being proud of who you are!

It comes from being someone you can count on, and someone you love.

The numbers will change with time, but wont change is who you are deep inside. –

🌱 So much truth there.

Dont dim your light to make others shine brighter, don’t be less, to make others feel like more.

Be yourself always, know your worth!

If you are ‘too much’ for certain people, find new people who will embrace your light and in turn it will enhance their own light.

When we are comfortable with who we truly are, we bring our own unique gifts and compliment one another.

Know your worth and dont dim your light!

Sneaky peak of yesterday’s shoot, way out of my comfort zone, but as a wise lady mentioned this morning, thats where the magic happens, our of our comfort zone!

Always so much fun with @miraclemomentsphoto_za 📷

GARDEN GIFTS   It tickles me to walk into a garden, pick my lunch, rinse the dirt off, and gobble it up.   It tickles me to watch my kids walk into a garden to pick medicine for a cut, or a cough, or make a poultice for a wounded animal.   Garden gifts....

On turning 40 (3rd October 2022)

On turning 40..   Growing up, 40 seemed so far away. It was a number that was spoken of with such mixed emotion. Either you were ancient when you got to 40 & life as you knew it ended, or life only started at 40, & you became all you were meant to be all...

My tech sabbatical and what I learned

What happens when you switch off every device you own for an entire month? Simplicity and bliss (and a few disgruntled individuals), that's what happens. As of 1st December 2021, I embarked on my very first 'tech sabbatical'. I switched everything off, and the kids...
